I realize it's been MONTHS since I've blogged. I was feeling a little unsure about this whole blogging thing. Don't get me wrong I love to read all those decorating & organizing blogs out there in blogland for inspiration. I've even started using pinterest to orgainize all my ideas. You can follow me

i heart organizing and someone mentioned my little unknown blog. I couldn't believe it...I was so excited...I was "famous"! LOL

I've got tons of ideas rolling around in my head & can't wait to get started this fall. My kids go back to school this Thursday and although I'll miss having them home it will free up lots of time to work on some projects. Especially our dining room table that sat in our garage all summer. I painted the table & 6 chairs with primer last spring but never got around to sanding & painting!!
Since it's still HOT here in NC...I started with a small indoor project...this morning I emptied their school file bins from last school year (yes...I know they've been sitting there all summer).
But we've had a busy and fun summer. We just got back from a week at the beach. We go every year with our family...and this year my best friend & her husband & kids joined us. Here are a few shots from our trip...

My husband celebrated his 40th birthday while we were at the beach. We threw him a Luau Surprise party on the beach...it was so much fun!
